New Delhi: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Shipbuilding Company of the Year’ title at the Maritime Excellence Awards 2025, held in Mumbai. The accolade highlights HSL’s remarkable contributions to India’s maritime sector through innovation, timely project execution, and indigenous shipbuilding excellence.
The award was received on behalf of HSL by Anand Mohan, Deputy General Manager (Production), during the ceremony.
Recognized for Indigenous Excellence in Naval Projects
HSL’s recognition comes in the wake of its groundbreaking achievement in delivering India’s first-ever indigenous DP-II class Diving Support Vessel (DSV) to the Indian Navy. The vessel, delivered on July 8, 2025, marked a significant milestone in India’s self-reliance drive in defence shipbuilding.
