New Delhi: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur to collaborate on research, training and capacity building in the field of urban infrastructure development.
The agreement aims to strengthen knowledge, skills and institutional capabilities in areas related to urban infrastructure and contribute to sustainable urban growth.
HUDCO and IIM Udaipur Join Hands for Urban Development
The MoU was signed in the presence of Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director, HUDCO, and Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur.
The collaboration brings together HUDCO’s experience in housing and urban infrastructure with IIM Udaipur’s expertise in management education, research and executive learning.
The partnership will focus on areas including:
- Research in urban infrastructure development
- Training and professional development
- Capacity building for institutional stakeholders
- Knowledge and skill enhancement
- Strengthening institutional capabilities for sustainable urban growth
MoU Signed by HUDCO and IIM Udaipur Representatives
The agreement was formally signed on behalf of the two organisations by Sudhir Bhatnagar, Executive Director (Projects), RC JRO, HUDCO, and Prof. N. Vishwanathan, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIM Udaipur. The signing marks a step towards developing greater institutional cooperation between the two organisations and creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and professional capacity building in the urban infrastructure sector.

The partnership will provide a framework for the two institutions to work together on initiatives aimed at strengthening capabilities in the urban development sector.
