HUDCO Joins Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign with Grand 2-Day Celebration at India Habitat Centre, Distributes Over 10,000 Flags

New Delhi: The Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), a Navratna NBFC-IFC under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), enthusiastically celebrated the Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a lively two-day event at the India Habitat Centre (IHC), New Delhi. The celebrations took place amidst the ongoing national campaign running from August 2 to 15, 2025, which aims to inspire citizens across the country to hoist the national flag at their homes with pride.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Srinivas Katikithala, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, in the august presence of Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD HUDCO, alongside senior officials from HUDCO, MoHUA, and other offices situated within the India Habitat Centre. In his address, Secretary Katikithala emphasized the significance of the Tiranga as more than just a symbol of India’s freedom struggle. He called upon every citizen to participate actively in the campaign, hoisting the national flag at their homes as a proud representation of India’s identity, unity, and honour.

CMD HUDCO Highlights the Spirit of Unity and Shared Heritage

Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD of HUDCO, remarked that the Har Ghar Tiranga celebrations serve as a vibrant reminder of the shared heritage and collective aspirations that unite the nation. Underlining HUDCO’s commitment to the campaign, he announced plans to distribute over 10,000 national flags, both at the IHC kiosk and various HUDCO regional offices nationwide. This initiative is aimed at empowering citizens across India to participate fully in the Har Ghar Tiranga movement.

Festive Atmosphere with Tricolour Décor and Selfie Points

The venue was beautifully adorned in the colours of the national flag, creating a spirited and festive ambiance. Participants of all ages showed great enthusiasm in collecting their national flags and proudly displaying them. To encourage capturing memories of the campaign, specially designed selfie points embellished with the Tiranga’s colours were set up, allowing attendees to commemorate their Har Ghar Tiranga moments on social media and beyond.

Widespread Participation Reflects Growing National Pride

The two-day event saw enthusiastic participation from people across different age groups, all eager to embrace the campaign’s message of unity and patriotism. Attendees expressed their happiness and pride in being part of a movement that strengthens the sense of oneness and reaffirms the country’s rich national identity.
