Mr. Benjamin Karunakaran, a 2013-batch Indian Audit & Account Service (IA&AS) officer, currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Power, has been appointed as Internal Financial Advisor for the Nuclear Recycle Board at the Fast Reactor Fuel Cycle Facility (FRFCF), Kalpakkam, on a lateral shift basis.
As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on November 25th, 2024, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment until November 1st, 2027, completing a total tenure of six years outside the cadre.
