IAS Alok Ranjan Ghosh Appointed Private Secy to Vice President; Vijay Datta Re-designated in MoHUA

New Delhi: The following notifications regarding appointments and recommendations were issued on Thursday:

Alok Ranjan Ghosh (IAS: 2011: BH) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, in the Vice President’s Secretariat. Ghosh will hold this position at the level of Director for a period of five years.

B Vijay Datta (IAS: 2011: MP), who previously held the position of Private Secretary to the Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) & Power, Manohar Lal, in MoHUA, has had his post re-designated at the Director level. This appointment will be valid until January 19, 2027, or until the co-terminus end of the Minister’s tenure.

These appointments and re-designations come as part of ongoing adjustments within the administrative structure.
