IAS Amit Kumar Ghosh’s tenure as an Additional Secretary in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment has been extended for one year through a circular issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Mr. Ghosh is a 1994-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer whose deputation tenure was extended for one year beyond 10.08.2024 to 10.08.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Officer Ghosh had earlier served as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
