New Delhi: Ashish Kumar Mishra, an IAS officer of the Uttarakhand 2021 batch, has been transferred from the Uttarakhand Cadre to the Rajasthan Cadre. This transfer follows his marriage to Dr. Anshu Priya, an IAS officer of the Rajasthan 2022 batch.

Shri Mishra holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, where he graduated with first-class honors. He joined the All India Services on December 5, 2021, and has since served in the Uttarakhand Cadre. The transfer allows him to be stationed in Rajasthan alongside his wife and continue his contribution to public service.

This transfer underscores the government’s policy to accommodate the personal and professional lives of its officers, allowing spouses to serve in the same cadre.
