Ashwani Kumar Transferred to Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department
Ashwani Kumar IAS, a 1997 Gujarat cadre officer currently serving as Principal Secretary of the Urban Development & Urban Housing Department, has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary of the Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department, Gujarat. Alongside this new role, he has also been entrusted with the additional charge of Principal Secretary of the Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs Department.
This reassignment places Kumar in charge of two crucial departments, where he is expected to bring his administrative expertise to enhance the development of sports and youth initiatives, as well as to manage legislative affairs with a focus on strengthening parliamentary processes in the state.
