Mr. Atul Kumar Tiwari (1990-batch Karnataka cadre IAS officer), currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has been assigned additional charge as Chairperson, National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 25, 2025, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has granted ex-post facto approval for his assignment for an additional three months, effective from March 13, 2025, or until a regular incumbent joins the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Meanwhile, Ms. Neha Bansal (2010-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Level-13) in the National Archives of India, under the Ministry of Culture, for a tenure of five years. As per the same DoPT order, the ACC has approved her appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme, for five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
