Mussoorie/New Delhi: In a significant central deputation move, Kranthi Kumar Pati, a 2015-batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Director at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie for a period of four years.
The appointment, approved by the Department of Personnel and Training under the Central Staffing Scheme, places him at the Deputy Secretary level in one of India’s most important civil services training institutions.
Four-Year Appointment Under Central Staffing Scheme
According to the official order issued by DoPT on March 18, 2026, the competent authority has approved Kranthi Kumar Pati’s appointment for four years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He will serve as Deputy Director at LBSNAA, the premier academy responsible for training officers of the IAS and other All India and Central Services.

Before this appointment, Kranthi Kumar Pati was serving as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) in his parent cadre.
