The Rajasthan government has assigned additional responsibilities to Mr. Kumar Pal Gautam, a 2009-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Currently serving as Secretary to the Government in the Finance (Revenue) Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur, he has now been given the additional charge of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur. This move is expected to enhance the efficiency of tax administration and streamline revenue operations in the state.
Meanwhile, Mr. Prakash Rajpurohit, a 2010-batch IAS officer who was serving as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur, has been appointed as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, New Delhi. His appointment is on a Central Deputation basis for a period of five years.
