Former Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Chairman Dr. Dinesh Dasa has been appointed to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He has started his new job in the nation’s capital.
The President of India made this appointment in accordance with an order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training). Members of the UPSC normally serve for a six-year term.
The UPSC, which is now chaired by Dr. Manoj Soni, also includes Rajiv Nayan Choubey, Lt Gen Raj Shukla (Retd.), Mrs. Preeti Sudan, Ms. Suman Sharma, and Bidyut Behari Swain. Dr. Dinesh Dasa has been appointed as a new member of the UPSC.
Dr. Dasa previously held the position of Ex-Director of Gujarat Tourism Corporation Ltd. He is a Ph.D. in Forest Laws and Sustainable Development from Navsari, Gujarat.
