1988 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, Apurva Chandra has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Sports and Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge to Chandra from 27.04.2022 to 15.05.2022 during the period of absence on leave of 1989 batch IAS officer Sujata Chaturvedi. He is currently Secretary, Information and Broadcasting.
