As per the notification issued by General Administration Department, Bihar, IAS Kumar Nishant Vivek, Officer on Special Duty, Energy Department, Bihar Patna has been posted as Sub-Divisional Officer, Kahalgaon Bhagalpur till further orders.
It has been said in the order that under Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, the power of the Executive Magistrate for the concerned subdivision area and the power to use Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been given to him in the concerned district.
