The inter-cadre transfer of Ms. Nisha, a 2021-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, from the Bihar cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre has been approved on the grounds of marriage to Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer Himanshu Babal.
The transfer has been sanctioned as per the existing policy that allows inter-cadre movement of IAS and IFoS officers upon marriage, ensuring that both officers can serve in the same state. With this approval, Ms. Nisha will now be assigned to the Uttar Pradesh cadre, where she will continue her administrative services alongside her spouse.
