The incumbent Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services under the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Prashant Kumar Goyal (2007 batch Tripura cadre IAS officer), was selected by the Union Government as the Government Nominee Director on the Board of National Insurance Academy (NIA) and the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL). Mr. Goyal was also nominated as a member of the Council of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
