Amidst a recent development, a 1998 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer, Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mittal, the incumbent Additional Secretary and Finance Advisor in the Department of Atomic Energy, was mandated to assume office in the rank of Additional Secretary as the Director General of National Mission for Clean Ganga in the Department of Water Resource, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation in New Delhi.
