2019 batch IAS officer Renu Sogan has been inter-cadre transferred from West Bengal to Haryana. Her husband IAS officer Hitesh Meena is working as ADC in Palwal.
Hitesh and Renu are originally from Rajasthan. On November 21, the Central Personnel and Training Department issued orders for the inter-cadre transfer of Renu. Per the order, under Rule 5(2) of the IAS Cadre Rules, 1954, Renu Sogan is being transferred from West Bengal because of her marriage to IAS Hitesh Meena of Haryana Cadre. Inter cadre transfer orders will be effective from 27 October 2022. The Principal Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), New Delhi had also ordered Renu to be included in the Haryana cadre on 31 August 2022.
Advocate Hemant Kumar said that in February this year, 2019 batch IAS officer Dr. Balpreet Singh was also transferred inter-cadre in Haryana. He is married to Upasana, a 2017 batch woman IPS officer of the Haryana cadre. He has come to Haryana from the Kerala cadre. Balpreet is posted as SDM in Ambala Cantt.
