On Wednesday 12 May, the Odisha government issued a transfer order in which IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh was appointed as the Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
The 1997 batch IAS has been asked to serve in additional charge of Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and CEO, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. in addition to his own duties.
Singh is currently holding the charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Skill Development & Technical Education Department with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Information & Public Relations Department and CMD, IDCO.
