In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir, the government has transferred and posted 41 officers, including 3 IAS officers. This will take place with immediate effect.
The reshuffle will also see Doda, Ramban and Reasi districts getting new Deputy Commissioners.
2013 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat has been transferred and posted as Director, Sericulture, J&K. He was working as Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K.
JKAS (Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service) officer, Mr Khalid Jahangir who is Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization, will hold the post of Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
While, 2015 batch IAS officer Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ramban. He was Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
Mr Harvinder Singh, an IAS officer of 2019 batch and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Doda.
