In a recent development, President Droupadi Murmu has approved the withdrawal of resignation by Aneesh Sekhar, an IAS officer of the 2011 batch.
His resignation, initially submitted on February 29, has been officially retracted, effective from April 29, as notified by the Union government. The time between his resignation date and the actual resumption of duties is designated as ‘dies non’, a period not counted as service.
Following this update, the state government announced on Thursday that Sekhar will take on a significant role as the managing director of Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited. This position was previously held by Rajesh Lakhoni, the chairman and managing director of Tangedco.
This appointment marks a crucial step in Sekhar’s career, positioning him at the forefront of advancing Tamil Nadu’s green energy initiatives.
