In the past few months, there have been two transfers of IAS officers. An extra charge has been placed against one IAS officer. Bhawani Singh Detha was moved on Saturday to the youth affairs and sports department as principal secretary. On February 1, he began working as principal secretary for the planning and statistics department.
Naveen Jain would succeed Detha as secretary to the department, which oversaw the language and library departments as well as the school education department. However, Jain will be replaced as secretary of the language and library departments and the school education department by Krishna Kunal, who began working as the women and child development department’s secretary on January 11.
V. Saravana Kumar has been appointed to the positions of commissioner and secretary in the department of science and technology. The divisional commissioner of Sikar, Mohan Lal Yadav, would take Kunal’s place as the department’s secretary for women and child development. The additional director general of HCM RIPA, Mahendra Soni, has been appointed to the revenue board.
Sikar’s divisional commissioner is Ghanendra Bhan Chaturvedi, formerly the ex-officio director of consolidation and settlement commissioner. In addition to his role as special secretary to the revenue department, Narendra Gupta now serves as the ex-officio director of consolidation and settlement commissioner.
