1989 batch retired IAS officer of West Bengal cadre, Mr. S Kishore, who is Chairman, Staff Selection Commission, has been given extension in tenure of re-employment in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India on contract basis for a period of three months beyond 31.01.2024.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the request from the Centre to assign the charge of Chairman of Staff Selection Commission to Mr. S Kishore again.
Prior to the latest posting, he was serving as Special Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
