WB: 2 IAS Officers Get Promotion, Choten Dhendup Lama Elevated to PS Rank in the Tribal Development Dept

In an administrative development in West Bengal, the Mamata Banerjee led state government has announced promotions for 2 IAS officers.

The promotion will be on the Higher Administrative Grade Scale of Pay, corresponding to Level 15 of the 7th CPC.

1999 batch IAS officer Parwez Ahmad Siddiqui, who presently serves as the Secretary of the Food and Supplies Department, has been promoted to the position of Principal Secretary in the same department.

While Ms. Choten Dhendup Lama, also an IAS officer of 1999 batch and currently serving as the Secretary of the Tribal Development Department, has been elevated to the role of Principal Secretary in the Tribal Development Department.

These promotions underscore the government’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding the exemplary service and dedication of its officers.
