The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of 1994 batch IAS officer Nidhi Chhibber’s tenure as Additional Secretary in NITI Aayog for an additional two months. The extension was confirmed through an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Under the new order, Chhibber’s deputation tenure has been extended until May 23, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Nidhi Chhibber, an IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, has been serving at NITI Aayog and contributing significantly to the country’s planning and policy-making processes.
