Mathura’s District Magistrate, Mr. CP Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has appointed Ms. Nisha Grewal, a 2021-batch IAS officer, as the Deputy District Officer (Sadar) in Sadar Tehsil. She replaces Mr. Rinku Rahi, 2022-batch IAS officer, who has been relieved from the district.
A native of Bhiwani district, Haryana, Ms. Nisha Grewal previously served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Motihari, Bihar, for 15 months. Her original cadre was Bihar, but the Central Government later transferred her to the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
