IAS Rohini Bhajibhakare’s Tenure As Joint Secy, Department of Rural Development, Extended By 2 Years

Ms. Rohini R. Bhajibhakare, a 2008-batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS officer, will have her deputation as Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development extended for an additional two years. An order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued on October 22nd, 2024, confirmed that the competent authority approved the Department of Rural Development’s request to extend her tenure beyond November 27th, 2024, or until further notice, whichever is first.
