Ms. Roshni Aparanji Korati who is an IAS of 2011 batch and Assam cadre has been posted as Joint Development Commissioner ,Special Economic Zone (Visakhapatnam) on Central deputation. She will be replacing V. Kiran Babu. Ms. Roshni is currently the Secretary (Agriculture) to the Government of Assam.
Let it be noted that Ms. Roshni completed her Master of Journalism and Mass Communication at Andhra University in 2005-07. She is very excited for her new role as Visakhapatnam is my birthplace.
Ms. Roshni has been awarded by Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2018, and had received the National Award for PMAY-G, the Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration by the Ministry of Rural Development in 2018 for her work as District Collector in Dhemaji.
