New Delhi: Shelly Rathi, an officer of the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS) from the 2021 batch, has been transferred and appointed as the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister of Delhi. The announcement comes as part of a reshuffling within the Delhi government.
Previously, Ms. Rathi served as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Kapashera, within the Revenue Department, where she played a key role in ensuring efficient administrative governance. Her work at Kapashera, particularly in managing local governance, law enforcement, and public services, earned her recognition for her commitment to public service.
In her new role, Ms. Rathi is expected to bring her extensive experience in public administration and governance to support the Chief Minister’s office in managing key government affairs and strategic decision-making.
