Amidst a recent development, Mr. Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj (2007 batch UP cadre IAS officer) brought immense glory to the Indian Bureaucracy by claiming a silver medal to his name during the Spanish Para-Badminton International held in Toledo, Spain. Officer Yathiraj reached the men’s singles SL4 final and lost to French athlete Mr. Lucas Mazur (18-21, 6-21).
IAS Yathiraj had served as the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar and became India’s first civil servant to receive the coveted Arjuna Award in 2021.
