Amidst a recent development, the Ministry of External Affairs appointed Mr. Naresh Kumar, a 2006 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, as the new Ambassador of India to the Islamic Republic Of Mauritania.
Mr Kumar is presently serving as the Joint Secretary in the MEA, and has served as the Consulate General of India in Toronto, Canada.
