Senior diplomat Mr. Ajaneesh Kumar, a 1996-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Argentine Republic.
Mr. Kumar is currently serving as India’s Ambassador to Estonia and is expected to assume his new role in Argentina shortly.

In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, “Shri Ajaneesh Kumar (IFS: 1996), presently Ambassador of India to Estonia, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Argentine Republic.”
With vast experience in diplomacy and international relations, Mr. Kumar’s appointment is expected to further strengthen India-Argentina bilateral ties across trade, investment, and strategic cooperation.
