Mr. S Senthil Kumar, a 1997-batch IFS officer from the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir cadre, has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of Forests (DDGF) in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
He will be stationed at the MoEFCC’s Regional Office in Bengaluru and will serve on a deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme of the ministry. This appointment aligns with the ministry’s efforts to strengthen its regional offices and ensure effective implementation of its environmental and forestry policies.
