IHMCL Invites Applications for Chief Executive Officer Post; Last Date April 30

As per the official notification dated April 9, 2025, the recruitment is open to experienced professionals from large corporates, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and government organizations with at least 25 years of experience, including three years at a CXO level or equivalent senior management positions.

New Delhi: The Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), an initiative of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has announced the recruitment for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The position is a high-level role, aimed at steering the company’s strategic direction in managing India’s electronic toll collection (ETC) and intelligent transport systems (ITS) infrastructure.

As per the official notification dated April 9, 2025, the recruitment is open to experienced professionals from large corporates, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and government organizations with at least 25 years of experience, including three years at a CXO level or equivalent senior management positions. The CEO will be the second-in-command at IHMCL, reporting directly to the Chairman & Managing Director.

Key Eligibility Criteria:

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: Engineering degree and/or MBA from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 25 years in management, operations, engineering, governance, or similar fields, with relevant leadership experience as a CXO or equivalent in senior government roles.

IHMCL has adopted the IDA pay pattern and offers a dynamic opportunity for senior professionals to contribute to the development and modernization of India’s highway infrastructure.
