Indian and Bhutan Foreign Service Officers Meet Bihar Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra

Patna: A team of six Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officers and one Bhutan Foreign Service officer met with Bihar’s Tourism and Industry Minister Nitish Mishra on Tuesday as part of their ongoing training. The officers are currently on a five-day tour of the state, which began on January 27 and will conclude on January 31.

During the meeting, Minister Mishra briefed the team on various initiatives aimed at developing the state’s industry and tourism sectors. He emphasized the innovative strategies being implemented to position Bihar as a global tourism destination and attract more visitors.

The foreign service trainees include Annapurna Singh, Akansha, Utkarsh Roy, Aman Saurabh, Jaishri Pradhan, and Sonam Tobge. The team is exploring the state’s potential to enhance international relations through tourism and industry.
