Manisha Sinha Takes Charge as Member (Financial Services), Postal Services Board
Ms Sinha, an officer of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) from the 1992 batch, has been appointed as Member (Financial Services) of the Postal Services Board under the Ministry of Communications. With over three decades of experience in postal services, Sinha brings deep expertise in managing and strengthening financial operations within India’s vast postal network. Her appointment is expected to reinforce the board’s efforts in improving financial inclusion and modernizing postal financial services to better serve the public.

Ajay Kumar Jaiswal Appointed Chief Vigilance Officer at Northern Coalfields Ltd
Mr Jaiswal, an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer from the 2008 batch, has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL), Singrauli. The appointment, under the Ministry of Coal, is for a tenure of three years. In his new role, Jaiswal will be responsible for overseeing vigilance activities, promoting transparency, and ensuring ethical practices within NCL, one of India’s largest coal-producing companies. His experience in engineering and administration positions him well to tackle challenges related to corporate governance and compliance in the coal sector.
