The Union government has recently mandated Ms. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, an IPS officer of the 1994 Bihar cadre, currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG) at the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), to take charge as the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for a tenure up to February 23rd, 2025.
