Mr. Deepak Kumar Kedia, a 1999-batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre IPS officer and Inspector General, National Security Guard (NSG), has been conferred with the prestigious ‘CA in Public Service’ Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

The award was presented at the World Forum of Accountants meeting held at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, on February 1, 2025. Union Minister of Law and Justice Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal honoured Mr. Kedia for his exceptional contributions to public service.

This award recognizes professionals who have leveraged their expertise in accounting and finance to strengthen governance, enhance transparency, and contribute to public administration. Mr. Kedia’s recognition highlights the multifaceted role of civil servants in nation-building and financial integrity.
