Fresh Postings For 3 Senior IPS Officers, Anupama Nilekar Chandra Made ADG In Sashastra Seema Bal

The Union government has announced new postings for three senior IPS officers in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Ms. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, a 1994-batch Bihar cadre IPS officer currently serving as ADG, BPR&D, has been appointed as Additional DG, SSB, until February 23, 2025, or further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mr. Saroj Kumar Thakur, a 2010-batch Tamil Nadu cadre IPS officer, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in SSB for a tenure of five years.

Mr. Rajendra Narayan Das, a 2006-batch Chhattisgarh cadre IPS officer, has been appointed as DIG in CRPF, also for a tenure of five years.
