In a significant development, the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has greenlit the proposal set forth by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the extension of the deputation tenure of Anshuman Yadav, an IPS officer belonging to the 1998 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre.
Anshuman Yadav, presently serving as the Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been granted a two-year extension beyond the stipulated date of 27th May 2024. This extension comes as a departure from the IPS tenure policy
