1997 batch IPS officer, Makrand Deoskar, has been appointed as Inspector General of the Border Security Force for a term of 5 years.
The appointment of Mr. Deoskar to the position was approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday. The term of office is five years from the date of charge or position, whichever comes first.
