The Odisha Government has transferred and posted four IPS officers in new postings. The names of the officers and their posts are –
- Additional Commissioner of Police Umashankar Dash has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Special Intelligence Wing (SIW).
- DIG, state police headquarters, Brijesh Kumar Rai has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police.
- ADG-ranked officer Lalit Das, who was director printing, stationery & publication, has been appointed ADG, human rights protection cell (HRPC) of Odisha police in place of Amrit Mohan, who was the special DG of the cell.
- DG- ranked officer Arun Kumar Ray, currently officer on special duty in home department, has been posted as director of printing, stationery & publication.
