2010 batch IPS officer Sarah Sharma of Odisha Cadre has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The tenure for this post is of five years.
The recruitment was made through an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training. The order was issued on 8th of March, 2024.
The authority approved the appointment of Ms. Sharma for five years from date of taking over the charge of the post.
