IPS officer Vijay Prakash who is the IG, Airport Sector, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has once again brought laurels to the district. On January 26, he was announced to be given the President’s Special Service Police Medal.
On the Raising Day which was celebrated at the National Industrial Security Academy of CISF at Hakimpet, Hyderabad, Mr. Prakash was honored with the President’s Distinguished Service Police Medal by the Union Minister Amit Shah.
IPS Vijay Prakash has earlier been awarded the President’s Police Service Medal for Gallantry in the year 2012, and also the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service in the year 2012.
