The Director of the NCRB, Dr. Vivek Gogia (1991 batch IPS officer), was given additional charge of the post of Director General in the Bureau of Research & Development (BPR&D) upon the retirement of Mr. Balaji Srivastava (1988 batch IPS officer) on 31.03.2024. Officer Gogia shall hold his new designation for one month or until Mr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma (1990 batch IPS officer) attains the post.
