How and when to use the powers given in the commissioner system properly ? Now it will be taught by the senior IPS Officers of Mumbai, Jaipur and Lucknow to the police officers of city of lakes; Bhopal. Further these officers will prepare new master trainers from among the officers of Bhopal who will continue to train new station in-charges and other level officers who come later.
For this purpose, a permanent training cell is being set-up in the Police Commissioner’s office. The department has contacted to Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh Government as well as police departments regarding the same and proposed to send senior officers of Police Commissioner system posted here as trainer to Bhopal.
Here the revenue training workshop which started from Sunday in Bhopal has been postponed for a few days waiting for the posting of new Police Officers after being conducted for two days. For the training purpose of all the field officers simultaneously, an order of PHQ is awaited for posting of new officers.
As per the new system, Revenue Court process is to be started in every police station and in the offices of high rank officers in the city. But Initially it is supposed to be started by two Assistant Commissioner of Police (Judicial) in the city. Under the commissioner system, 2 posts of ACP Judicial have been approved, on which DSP rank officers are yet to be appointed.
DGP Vivek Johari called Bhopal Police Commissioner Makarand Deuskar and Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra for review. Bhopal police has sought a fund of 40Lakhs for renovation of additional offices. The review meeting with both the Police Commissioners continued for 3 hours at the Police Headquarters.
