In an early morning bureaucratic reshuffle in police department, the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has transferred and posted 3 IPS officers including SPs of two districts.
IPS officer Ashok Kumar has been transferred from Rampur and made the Superintendent of Police, CBCID. He was serving as SP, Rampur. He is promotee IPS officer and belongs to 1994 batch UP PPS (Uttar Pradesh Provincial Police Service).
While IPS officer Rajesh Dwivedi, who is SP, Hardoi, has been made the new SP of Rampur. He is also a promotee IPS officer and belongs to 1997 batch of UP PPS.
IPS officer Keshav Chand Goswami has been removed from the post of SP, CBCID and appointed as the new SP of Hardoi. He is a promotee IPS officer and was posted in Shravasti. He is 1997 batch of UP PPS officer.
On Tuesday, the state government had posted 26 Provincial Police Service Cadre (PPS) officers of UP, who were promoted to the post of Indian Police Service (IPS) on September 15, in the area of their current posting. An order regarding this was issued by the police headquarters.
