The 2005 batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre, Mr Kuldeep Dwivedi has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI).
He presently serving as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
While 1996-batch Senior IPS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Mukesh Singh has been made the Inspector General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). He will serve on deputation basis.
The order stated that the Personnel Ministry has authorised Dwivedi’s lateral transfer for a period of five years, ending on January 17, 2026, from his position as DIG, ITBP to that of DIG, CBI.
