1990 batch IPS officer from AGMUT cadre Vivek Gogia received his new posting as the Director of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on Monday. An office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India stated that Vivek Gogia, who is presently posted as Joint Director, NCRB, is appointed as Director, NCRB (ADG level).
The joint tenure of Gogia as Director of NCRB can be extended under the provision of Para-5.1(3) of the IPS Tenure Policy.
