Home Minister Amit Shah has now intervened in the brutal death of a girl in Delhi’s Kanjhawala. Special Commissioner in Delhi Police, 1996 batch IPS officer Shalini Singh has been asked to submit a detailed report to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Amit Shah himself has spoken to Shalini Singh and asked her to look into the matter.
IPS Shalini Singh has been working in Delhi for a long time. She has been posted as DCP in South West and South East. Shalini Singh has also been posted in the Intelligence Bureau. He has also served in Andaman and Pondicherry.
After getting the responsibility of the investigation, Ms. Singh reached the spot and inspected it. Shalini Singh has been posted on many important posts in Delhi. 1996 IPS batch Shalini Singh is currently Special Commissioner of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in Delhi Police. Earlier Shalini was Joint CP Western Range. During this, Shalini Singh played an important role in formulating the strategy on behalf of the Delhi Police in the farmer’s movement.
When the rumor of communal tension was spread in Delhi’s Khayala area, Shalini Singh came on the road with a loudspeaker and stopped the rumor from spreading. She has also held the post of DCP South West, South East. Shalini Singh has also been posted in IB. He has also served in Andaman and Pondicherry.
In the year 2004, he solved the case of murder of senior station lieutenant general Harnam Singh and his wife. This massacre came in the headlines when the accused were caught on the Nepal border.
